i really want to love cobblemon but there being no battleable npcs and no pokecenters and pokemarts just made it get boring very quick compared to the fun i had playing pixelmon when they add those it will definitely be one of the best mods of all time

It’s been updated since then and it’s amazing. I loved pixelmon but had so many issues with it especially when it came to other mods, cobblemon on the other hand is more compatible with more mods, and even has many more Pokemon now, and even makes it feel like your still playing Pokemon. There’s more animation and even more things. It’s much better then pixel on in my opinion and it feels much more like Pokemon in Minecraft instead of just another Pokemon game with more open world aspects. I do recommend playing cobblemon and even put together your own adventure with other mods! (Battle animations are somewhat now in the mod if I remember correctly.)

how to make the animations for cobblemon work I see all other people have their Pokemon actually fight and do moves but when I use the mod they stay still only the sleeping animation works not fighting

Starting pistons were not working only 2 were getting on 😢😢

I'm definitely going to wait a few updates before switching over.

I like cobblemon way better, pixel art models are much more fitting to minecraft, i wished it has gym generations with shops like pixelmon tho

Idk why but I was doing this on 1.12 with the future my mod and I made one side and it worked then when I made the other it stoped, I went back to the first and it stopped again. Considering this was with a mod idk but it’s stoped working when a slime or honey block was in front the sticky piston. I broke it down and it only stops when I add more then 1 honey/ slime on the last section used for the door

Did not work that well on bedrock

It seems Im the only person who vastly prefers the pixelmon looks, as well as it removing vanilla mobs from the game

I don't know why but the sticky piston don't want to take the honey blocks, do you know why??

Great contraption, but with some flaws. If you try to fill out the gaps between the doorframe and the surrounding landscape, it messes up the way the honey and slime blocks travel. I opted to just leave that space empty unless someone has a better alternative?

Would be nice if some attacks were animated. Its the only reason I haven't played many Pokemon Minecraft mods

I think that both are good if you want a mod that is better for competetive players and servers go for pixelmon if you want a survival pokemon adventure in mincraft go for cobblemon
